Pauline Montagna was born into an Italian family in Melbourne, Australia where she completed a Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University. During a varied career in a wide variety of industries, Pauline indulged her artistic interests Melbourne’s burgeoning amateur theatre scene. Both strands of her life came together when she became part of the Australian film industry which eventually took her to Perth. There she decided to return to university and qualify as a teacher, graduating from Edith Cowan and Murdoch Universities with Graduate Diplomas in Language Studies and Education.
After returning to Melbourne, Pauline continued teaching English as a Second Language while she completed a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing. For several years, she continued teaching part-time while self-publishing several books, as well as writing extensively on a wide range of subjects. She has since retired and concentrates her efforts on this website.
